Governor-elect Peter Mbah paid a thank-you visit to Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi.
The result was announced the results early Monday morning at Nsukka INEC office.
Mr Mbah said with the “massive endorsement, defeat is already staring at the opposition.”
“we are begging the state government to continue with the road work.”
“We are calling on his excellency, Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, to help us as we do not have any land again.”
The governor presented the budget to the State Assembly on December 15, and is to begin implementation from January 1, 2023.
On the first day of the visit, the pilgrims were conducted around the historic site of the Citadel, which is located on a hill in Amman’s downtown area.
Mr Ugwuanyi said the “Budget of Consolidation and Transition” is 10.73 per cent lower than the N186 billion presented in 2022.
