Mr Hussaini said the gesture was borne out of the need to ensure that farmers in the state were given the right information on best agronomic practices to improve their yields.
He said workers’ welfare and well-being had been prioritised under his administration since they were critical stakeholders in state affairs.
Mr Yahaya said the exercise would provide a good data to help develop the country and improve on the wellbeing of citizens.
Mr Yahaya of the APC scored 342,821 votes to defeat his closest rival, Jibrin Barde of the PDP, who polled 233,131 votes.
The sixth LGA is Kaltungo, where APC polled 21015 votes against PDP’s 21,321 votes.
“Don’t make any mistakes. Shine your eyes and make your choice. Vote for All Progressives Congress (APC) in Gombe state.”
The governor blamed the gratuity arrears on his predecessors.
“We have not bothered ourselves about the case in the first place because it lacked focus, merit and moral standing, and we refused to be distracted by it in any way.”
The GIRS boss said the service had recorded unprecedented feats in revenue collection since the inception of Governor Inuwa Yahaya in 2019.
PDP had sought the disqualification of Governor Inuwa Yahaya as candidate of the APC in the Gombe State governorship election.
