Governor Peter Mbah says he is planning to build 260 primary health centres in all the electoral wards in Enugu.
“Work is ongoing and we want the people to know that the government is on it.’’
Mr Ohaa said the initiative encompassed equipment upgrade and facility provision.
Governor Peter Mbah has presented a budget of ₦521.6 billion for 2024 to the Enugu House of Assembly for approval.
The Enugu government would always draw inspiration from the intellectual work of revered traditional rulers, said Mr Mbah.
Mr Mbah also said the water scheme was built using internally generated revenue.
“We know that 70 per cent of the indigenes in Enugu State reside in rural areas.’’
He explained that the kidnapped doctor managed to escape from the location where he was held captive by the kidnappers.
The judge held that the certificate presented to INEC by Mr Mbah was authentic and validly issued by the NYSC.
“We would invest in agriculture by attracting investors, empowering farmers and opening up the rural economy of the state,” said the governor.
