The magistrate, Cynthia Ikpe, did not take the defendant’s plea for lack of jurisdiction.
Mr Igbaukum lamented that farmers in the state were grappling with post-harvest losses which was largely due to lack of storage facilities.
Mr Hungwa also said that while the protest was ongoing and the road remained blocked, the herders killed additional two persons.
The herder, however, pleaded not guilty to charges of conspiracy, open grazing and damage to crops.
The robbers blocked the road and armed with pistols robbed the complainants of two Android phones valued at N193,000 and two power banks valued at N29,500, the court heard.
