Mr Olalemi said that the party would not miss the defectors, adding that they were not active members of the party.
Mr Amode, along with other PDP chieftains, announced his defection at a news conference on Monday in Ikeja.
The abductors had contacted his family, demanding N200 million as ransom.
“We call on the public to support initiatives aimed at ending this threat to innocent lives,” he said.
Mr Amode said the party’s gubernatorial candidate, Abdulazeez “Jandor” Adediran, had also congratulated Mr Sanwo-Olu on his victory at the apex court.
“In a couple of days, our petitions will get to the Supreme Court,” Mr Amode said.
“This is not the end of the electoral process. It is just another stage. We will study the judgment and take decisions in the best interest of Lagos residents.”
The PDP Lagos chapter and the JandorFunke Campaign Council on Tuesday said they would petition SSS.
Both parties are accusing each other of sponsoring thugs to disrupt the PDP campaign in Surulere area of Lagos.
The committee would be assisted by 18 directorates, headed by a deputy director.
