The minister added that CEDF is structured as an independent, professionally managed investment fund.
According to her, the partnership aims to build proper structures to add value to Nigeria’s rich cultural identity.
The federal government said the National Economic Council had approved the project, paving the way for the transformation of the creative industry.
The minister eulogised Mr Tinubu’s administration’s support in promoting Nigeria’s vibrant creative sector.
Ms Musawa further said that the ministry’s partnership with NESG and UNESCO had been instrumental in ensuring a well-structured and inclusive review process.
The minister said the collaborative initiatives were in alignment with President Bola Tinubu’s vision of building a $1 trillion economy from the sector.
Ms Musawa made the call at a breaking of fast she hosted for stakeholders, ministry officials and the media on Wednesday evening in Abuja.
“This is where members of the diaspora can seamlessly invest and ensure a sustainable connection with their homeland and roots,’’ the minister said.
Ms Musawa announced this on Saturday at a New Year gala night celebrating China-Nigeria friendship hosted by the China Cultural Centre in Abuja.
“Nigeria will take its rightful position in the gas economy in the continent,” he stated.
