The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation said equitable salaries for workers were one of President Bola Tinubu’s administration’s major priorities.
Folasade Yemi-Esan, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), handed over an appointment letter to the new executive secretary.
Their supervisors and department heads must also be punished for aiding and abetting the fraud under their watch,” Mr Tinubu said.
The HOCSF commended civil servants for their performance in the transformative and innovative service introduced by the federal government.
Ms Lawanson urged the desk officers on training to make deliberate efforts to prevent workplace accidents and illness so as to promote healthy well-being among civil servants.
According Yemi-Esan, the date for the swearing-in and deployment of the new appointees will be announced in due course.
The start-up programme will prepare prospective retirees three years before their retirement.
“If the service is going digital, and permanent secretaries who are supposed to lead the digitisation process don’t know how to operate computers…”
