HEDA has issued an advisory on the 2026 flood outlook, warning farmers and stakeholders of widespread risks across Nigeria.

Mr Arigbabu said, “Some respondents have even proposed the abolishing of SIECs and transferring their functions to INEC due lack of credibility.’’
HEDA said the legal step is meant to set a precedent that oil licence transfers and divestments must be conducted in compliance with Nigerian law.
Mr Arigbabu noted that dropping waste on the roads was inimical to good environmental and waste management practices.
Mr Arigbagbu stressed the need for the judiciary to gain public trust, which he said had waned due to a credibility crisis.
