This comes months after Mr Tinubu sacked Governor Sim Fubara and other elected officials in Rivers.
After handing the order on Monday, the judge cautioned parties in the matter to maintain the status quo.
On March 18, President Bola Tinubu declared a state of emergency in Rivers.
Ibok-Ete Ibas, Rivers’ sole administrator, has reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to workers’ welfare and industrial harmony.
“It is important that any engagement with this committee is done with the depth, accuracy and clarity it rightfully deserves,” said Mr Ibas.
Police commissioner Olugbenga Adepoju disclosed this in a statement on Thursday.
