Mr Tinubu directs all affected officials to submit their formal resignation letters through the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation.
The unions of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency have suspended a planned strike that was set to begin at midnight on Wednesday.

“It is important for you to know that we inherited a difficult situation, literally a bankrupt country.’’
“I am urging you to give peace a chance and go home. We will get back to you as soon as possible and without delays.”
