The FRSC official said the accident involved a Toyota Hummer bus, with registration number KTG 190 XB and a Hijet mini pick-up, with registration number KTG 501 YG.
The FRSC sector commander said the personnel included 1,244 regular marshals and 236 special marshals on major routes.
He also said that the personnel would provide prompt attention to victims of road traffic crashes within the festive period.
The sector commander added that 8,869 vehicles were impounded within the period under review for contravention of various traffic offences.
The sector commander reiterated that all station officers in the 44 local government areas of the state were fully involved in the operations.
