The governors disclosed this in a communique issued at the end of the forum’s meeting held at the Government House, Enugu on Sunday.
The teachers’ union embarked on an indefinite strike over non-payment of the N30,000 minimum wage by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi’s government.
Delegates from Enugu West Senatorial District on Sunday assured Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of maximum support.
Mr Mbaka prayed for the timely commencement and successful completion of the project.
Mr Ujogu said that the sanctions were as a result of the offences committed by the affected corps members which contravened the Bye-Laws of the scheme.
Mr Ugwuanyi also promised to work towards the advancement of peace and good governance in Enugu for the well-being of the people.
“Our brothers in PDP are easily agreed that I tower above some of the persons aspiring to the position in their party. I have no fear.”
Disputes erupted during the PDP monthly council meeting at Ndeaboh, leaving several party members wounded in the ensuing fracas.
The Peoples Democratic Party zoning committee says it will present a unanimous decision to its national executive committee.
“Governor Ugwuanyi is not called a man of peace for nothing. He has a very active conscience, and he does not believe in injustice.”
