UNICEF, on Wednesday, launched an e-learning platform, known as the Nigeria Learning Passport, in Imo to reduce the number of out-of-school children.
The Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy says it will collaborate with relevant regulatory authorities to review its impact on the communications sector.
3MTT was launched in October 2023 with 1.8 million applications from 36 states and the FCT.
The federal government has announced plans to invest $2 billion to deploy a 90,000km fibre optic project in the country.
The Nigeria Learning Passport “is a result of a collaborative effort between UNICEF, the Federal and State Ministries of Education,” a statement issued Tuesday said.
