Mr Akinbiyi stated that the lone crash involved a Mitsubishi bus, registration number EJ829-LSR, which was conveying 15 passengers at the time.
The police stated that a second suspect, a septuagenarian, who bought some human parts from him, was also arrested.
The governor also advocated for an increase in the carrying capacity of the existing tertiary institutions.
