Mr Kuru was arraigned on February 11 alongside Sigma Golf Nigeria Ltd.
Justice Okunuga sentenced him to four years jail term on each count.
The defendant, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Justice Olubunmi Abike-Fadipe held that the prosecution failed to establish a prima facie case against the defendant.
Mr Emefiele is standing trial for alleged abuse of office and $4.5 billion and N2.8 billion fraud.
Ms Dada, in her ruling, set aside the bench warrant in view of the second defendant’s presence in court and adjourned the case until January 20, 2025.
The judge adjourned the case until January 20 2025 for arraignment.
The EFCC counsel, Babangida Isah, told the court that the defendants conspired and committed the offences sometime in July 2023 in Lagos.
