Festus Osifo, the TUC president, said the strike would remain until “government at all levels wake up to their responsibility.”
Ihejiagwa said the election was characterised by attacks, intimidation and stiff opposition.
INEC said that results from the affected polling units had been accounted for in Form EC40G.
He said party agents allegedly shared money with voters upon confirmation that they voted for their party candidates.
It was gathered that an unnamed party offered the money to the INEC staff.
“When you are conducting elections in 36 states, you can be giving excuses of having a lot of data, manpower, logistics and others to deal with.”
The NLC called for the redeployment of the Imo State Commissioner of Police, Mohammed Barde.

The directive is to protest the recent brutalisation of the president of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Joe Ajaero.
“We are using this forum to passionately appeal to the NLC to shelve the planned strike,’’ said the group’s Director-General, Mr Kailani Muhammed.
