He alleged that the suspects were notorious for extorting unsuspecting civilians, especially the youths in Owerri, using Point of Sale (PoS) machines.
He said the Court of Appeal had also affirmed the judgement of the Federal High Court that Mr Abure’s conduct was contemptuous.
Last week, a separate Appeal Court in Benin City, Edo State capital, affirmed Mr Abure as the national chairman of the Labour Party.
He said the suspects were reported at Ihiagwa Police Divisional Headquarters, Owerri.
Mr Uzodimma said upon the arrest of those criminals, they would be dealt with in accordance with the laws of the land.
Mr Uzodimma made the announcement during a special meeting with critical Imo stakeholders, on Saturday in Owerri.
The seizures came barely 24 hours after the NDLEA chairman, retired Brig.-Gen. Buba Marwa’s warning against illegal sale and use of laughing gas.
