Mr Peretei and 15 other members were elected as executives of the party at its state congress.
He described the commission’s 14,000 employees as the silent engine driving Nigeria’s democracy forward.

He said the presence of some expelled party members at the summit should not be misconstrued as NNPP participation.
The parties called for the removal of provisions that could undermine the credibility of the 2027 general elections.
The presidential primary election is fixed for May 17 to May 18.
