Mr Godswill Akpabio challenged the judgement of the Court of Appeal Abuja, which set aside an earlier Federal High Court Abuja victory.
The APC was alleged to have fraudulently submitted the name of Kabir Jega to INEC as its candidate.
The Abuja Division of the Court of Appeal has affirmed the candidacy of Akanimo Udofia as the governorship candidate of the APC in Akwa Ibom.
“Having found that the plaintiff lacks the locus standi, the court has no jurisdiction to proceed with the matter, and the proceedings will terminate at this point.”
