He was adopted by the party’s delegates and stakeholders from the 20 local government areas of the state.
The former governor boasted that he was the first governor to introduce the Independent Power Project in Nigeria.
“Oyo state will have its own IPP, and from that proof of concept, we will expand it to industries and households as we move along,” disclosed the governor.
“If there is one area that we are unhappy about in terms of our development in the state, it is the availability of electricity. We have been on it from day one.”
