The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has indefinitely suspended Nura Ali, its resident electoral commissioner in Sokoto.

Mr Atiku berated the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), saying the 2023 presidential election is the worst in Nigeria’s history.
Ms Akpoti-Uduaghan has petitioned INEC over the outcome of the Kogi Central senatorial poll held on February 25.
“The INEC has failed the nation by sowing more distrust and suspicion because it failed to follow its own guidelines in conducting last week’s elections.”

The general elections were held on February 25.
The 1.6 million eligible voters represents 84 per cent of the 1.9 million registered population in the state.
