“These prohibitions, including sanctions, are provided for in Section 96 of the Electoral Act 2022,” he said.
Before the general election, INEC had reiterated its commitment to complete compliance with the BVAS machine in the 2023 elections.
The commission urged Nigerians to stop linking it with MC Oluomo, saying its commitment was to the individual drivers.
It would be “a big shame if we cannot conduct the elections because of insecurity. It is bad that we are in a situation where an election is at risk,” said IPAC.
“Let me also inform you that some Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) of those that registered prior to the 2019 General Election are still available at all the 20 LGAs for collection.”

Mr Oni is said to have left the PDP due to the injustice meted to him during the January 26 primary election.

Of the 120,600 Nigerians who had completed their physical registration, 72,075 were male, while 48,525 were female.
