Six political parties in Ekiti have disassociated themselves from the recently conducted election and inauguration by the Inter-Party Advisory Council.
The police commissioner in Kogi made the plea after some party supporters protested at the INEC office on Wednesday.
The council also called on security agencies to fortify security around INEC offices, given the alarm raised by the SDP.
The senator, who eventually cast his vote said he needed to make some calls to INEC office before they sent technicians who came to fix the BVAS.
Several vehicles were seen as late as 8:30 p.m. carrying materials from the office to the various voting points.
This discovery comes less than 12 hours before the presidential and national assembly elections holding nationwide tomorrow, February 25.
