The Buhari regime spokesperson said Boko Haram terrorists in North-East were joining forces with bandits in the North-Central.
The information minister attended a tourism festival in Kebbi on Monday.
The governor said as harvest season approaches, bandits were plotting to steal food items planted by farmers.
“Comparatively, Nigeria is not very strong in destination tourism though the country attracts many travellers who are more on businesses,” Mr Mohammed added.
The information minister also threatened that media organisations would be “shown the red card” if they failed to heed Mr Buhari regime’s call to be “patriotic.
Lai Mohammed is said to be in the U.S. to brief media organisations and think tanks on the achievements of the Buhari regime.
Information minister Lai Mohammed said Twitter has accepted most of the conditions laid down by the federal government.
Mohammed has accused the National Youth Service Corps of disobeying COVID-19 safety protocols, resulting in a surge of coronavirus cases in NYSC camps.
Lai Mohammed has described his compatriots as “extremely futile in imagination” over a claim by some that the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine is unsafe for Nigerians.
“Any interference with Twitter is viewed as inference with human rights, and that will violate human rights,” the court held.
