The market capitalisation gained N53 billion to close at N27.459 trillion against N27.406 trillion on Thursday.
Sell-offs were in stocks belonging to MTNN, Eternal, Guaranty Trust Bank Company and International Breweries.
The negative performance was with 34 stocks recording decline as against 15 stocks with gains.
Specifically, the All-Share Index dipped 57.03 points or 0.15 per cent to close at 38,911.31 from 38,968.34 recorded on Wednesday.
Market capitalisation, which opened at N20.450 trillion, lost N24 billion or 0.12 per cent to close at N20.426 trillion.
Market performance was driven by price depreciation in large and medium capitalised stocks.
