The governor said his government won’t allow anybody to divide the people and destroy the state because of politics.
“If we don’t humble ourselves to the Almighty Allah, an end to these orgy of violence seems not in sight.”
Muslims were asked to remain virtuous, self-disciplined, dedicated and God-fearing at all times.
The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has called on Muslims to pray harder ahead of the 2023 general elections.
“Nigerians are desperately yearning for concrete actions against all forms of criminalities. Silence is not golden…,” said the JNI statement.
The JNI described the violent attacks as “worrisome”, adding that it posed serious threats to the peace efforts of the state government.
The Muslim leaders also complained about Christians in Plateau and Kaduna and disclosed their plans to cause mayhem by enlisting Muslims in the security agencies as allies.
