Adeyemi Adeniran, the statistician-general of the federation, has called on stakeholders to take action to eradicate poverty in Nigeria.
“From 1999 elections to date, we have seen only a marginal increase in the number of women representatives in elective and appointive positions.”
Mr Dingyadi said the country would also continue to seek cooperation in intelligence and information sharing to curb the activities of criminals.
Mr Aregbesola also urged the Canadian government to assist Nigeria with new technologies to ease the monitoring of Nigerian borders, high seas, land, railways and schools.
