Market capitalisation rose by N318 billion or 0.49 per cent, closing at N65.817 trillion compared with Thursday’s figure of N65.499 trillion.
The Nigerian capital market on Tuesday gained N510 billion, closing at N39.69 trillion from N36.21 trillion recorded on Monday.
Specifically, the market capitalisation, which opened at N35.01 trillion, shed N79 billion to close at N34.932 trillion.
The market capitalisation gained N13 billion or 0.05 per cent to close at N26.961 trillion from N26.947 trillion recorded at the previous section.
Market breadth closed positive as 21 stocks were on the leader’s table, while 11 were on the laggard’s log.
The market capitalisation dropped by N3.41 billion to N27.803 trillion from N27.806 trillion recorded on Thursday.
The total volume traded decreased to N1.44 billion from N2.57 billion on Tuesday and exchanged in 3,745 deals.
The All Share Index (ASI) lost by 0.14 per cent to close at 53,193.98 points from 53,270.88 points the previous day.
The market capitalisation upgraded by N320 billion to close at N25.95 trillion in contrast with N25.63 trillion achieved on Tuesday.
