He explained that Mr Ibrahim was declared the winner having obtained the highest number of votes in Saturday’s election.
Mr Ibrahim released a message on Friday in Okitipupa to condole Governor Akeredolu and Prince Charles of Wales (the king apparent of England) over the passage of their mothers.
Mr Ibrahim polled 190 votes, defeating his closest rival, Mathew Oyerinmade, who polled 92 votes.
A Federal High Court, Lagos, had on February 17 declined to vacate an interim order through which AMCON seized property belonging to Mr. Ibrahim.
