The University of Ibadan (UI) management has beefed up security following Saturday’s robbery at Awo Hall.
No fewer than 4,834 University of Ibadan students have benefited from the Nigerian Education Loan Fund to the tune of N735.8 million.
No death or injury was recorded early Thursday morning during a fire incident at the University of Ibadan, the institution and Oyo fire authorities have confirmed.
The university said the loan was paid into its account.
Management of the University of Ibadan says it will have to cough up N280 million each month as IBEDC reveals plans to move the institution to Band A.
A student said some of his colleagues were contemplating quitting their studies because of the hike in school and utility fees.
The worker said the management noted that more hands were needed to attend to the victims.
“The veracity of the allegation will be known upon completion of the investigation,” the university said.
