“We have a legion of ex-internationals qualified to handle the Super Eagles, like Emmanuel Amuneke, Sunday Oliseh, Finidi George, Emeka Ezeugo, etc.,” said Mr Jalla.
“We know they have scored a lot of goals, but I have confidence in my team that we will be able to withstand any pressure from them,” Iwobi stressed.
“We will stick to the positive, we are trying to improve our game daily. Nigeria is a good team.”

“Our team created a lot of chances but we didn’t score,” stated Peseiro.
Nigeria will play Equatorial Guinea with only one fit striker in Victor Osimhen.

Super Eagles head coach Jose Paseiro says his current focus is to win the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) title with the Super Eagles.
