Customs says it generated about N127 million in November as revenue from mostly import of goods into the country through the Kamba border in Kebbi.
He said that the handover of the substances was in the spirit of inter-agency collaboration.
The interception was made based on a tipoff, Customs spokesman Nasir Manga said.
A Customs official said the trade contravened the International Convention on Wildlife of which Nigeria is a “signatory“.
The agency said only private jets cleared by customs will be allowed to operate within Nigeria.
According to the spokesperson, there would be more revenue to be accrued to the federal government with the exercise.
Three suspects were arrested and detained while a preliminary investigation is ongoing.
