The former deputy governor was buried at about 2:30 p.m. in his family compound after the funeral service.
Mr Mutfwang decried that insecurity had posed a serious threat to the economic prosperity of Plateau.

Mr Dariye expressed gratitude for the solidarity and love shown by the governor.
“N100 was moved into PDP South-West, and another N100 million was used for the campaign of Obasanjo’s reelection in 2003,” Mr Dariye claimed.
Last April, Mr Buhari pardoned two members of his political party, the APC, jailed for looting state resources, claiming they were too sick to remain in prison.
The government had announced the pardon of 159 convicted persons, including the former governors, after the Council of State meeting on Thursday.
“All petty thieves in our prisons should be released. Under Section 17 of the 1999 Constitution, there shall be equality and equal rights for all citizens.”
