The president of the National Industrial Court, Justice Benedict Kanyip, has raised concerns over observed lacunae in the Employees’ Compensation Act.
Then Justice Kanyip disclosed that Damian Dodo is his in-law.
Mr Kanyip said that the section does not encourage monopoly of trade unions, but rather the section encourages the existence of other trade unions.
The announcement, made in a circular on Wednesday in Abuja, was signed by the court president, Justice Benedict Kanyip.
Delivering the judgement, Justice Benedict Kanyip declared that ASUU was not entitled to salary during the period it embarked on strike.
The judge also said that the defence had shown a lack of seriousness by not filing its defence and instead opted to file an application for a stay of execution.
The governor said more students now write the WAEC SSCE and that there’s a reduction in the state’s infant and maternal mortality rates.
The payment should be deposited in the case file before the court.
