The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court has fixed March 7 to hear a motion filed by former Governor Willie Obiano.
Former President Muhammadu Buhari had, on Dec. 1, 2022, fired Mr Abdulhammed on allegations of corruption.
The IPOB leader, who sued the defendants over allegations bordering on violations of his rights, alleged that he was kidnapped from Kenya.
The former governor pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The ex-Senate president had filed the suits following the EFCC’s decision in 2019 to probe his earnings between 2003 and 2011 when he was governor of Kwara.
Mr Opatola, who represented himself as the plaintiff, told the court that all processes had been filed and exchanged with the defendant.
He said the deceased had a fundamental right to life guaranteed and enforceable under the laws.
The Abuja Division of the Federal High Court declared Samuel Anyanwu as the valid national secretary of the PDP.
“I am going to allow the defendant to have access to his own physicians, and whatever they do will be under the supervision of the prosecution,” the judge ruled.
