Mr Sowore, who was arraigned before Justice Mohammed Umar, pleaded not guilty.
IG’s lawyer, Aminu Abdullahi, informed Justice Mohammed Umar of the Federal High Court, Abuja Division, that the money in dispute had been paid by the defendants.

She was also alleged to have, in a television interview, claimed that the Senate president and ex-Kogi State governor, Yahaya Bello, plotted to kill her in Kogi State.

The judge struck out the two cases after a notice of discontinuance of the suits cited in the court record and after no lawyer appeared for the parties.
