The SSS operatives accused the defendants of making a false claim that Ms John and Mr Ogunleye invaded SERAP’s Abuja office.
Messrs Owohunwa, Igwe, Opera, Obo and Lough are charged with, among others, conspiracy, age falsification and forgery.
The EFCC dragged them on a 14-count charge, alleging that they fraudulently diverted public funds to the tune of N109.5 billion.
Justice Yusuf Halilu, who issued the order, also barred the EFCC from inviting, harassing, intimidating or threatening Mr Batagarawa pending further proceedings.
The former union leaders, including Lucky Osesua, a one-time national chairman, were arraigned before the FCT High Court.
The ex-NUPENG leaders are being tried on five counts of attempted murder, breach of peace and assault.
Mr Dikki said though the operatives did not beat him, he was harassed and tortured psychologically.
“This is not fair on the prosecution. It is definitely a ploy to delay the trial.”
Mr Idris and others are being charged by the EFCC for diverting N109.5 billion public funds.
Mr Halilu held that the prosecution had proven its case against the convicts beyond a reasonable doubt.
