Mr Tsakuwa said the NDLEA carried out raids and dislodgement of black spots and synergised with other security agencies.
The NDLEA boss said the command prosecuted 173 cases in court within the same period under review.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency seized N815.8 million worth of drugs between January and December 2024 in Abuja.
Mr Kabir Tsakuwa, commander of narcotics, NDLEA, FCT command, said this in an interview on Friday in Abuja.
“The issues of drug abuse are not funny and we must treat it squarely at both individual and governmental levels.”
The NDLEA commander said 640 suspects, comprising 614 males and 26 females, were arrested within the period under review.
