Afghanistan authorities have said that hundreds were killed and injured after Pakistan’s airstrike hit a drug rehabilitation centre in Kabul on Monday.
China has called for dialogue following the military escalation between Pakistan and Afghanistan that saw Pakistani forces strike Afghan cities overnight.
Authorities said they recovered more than 2,000 intoxicating tablets.
The funding comes in addition to €161 million previously allocated in 2025 for humanitarian organisations active in Afghanistan.
At least 250 people have died and more than 500 others have been injured in Afghanistan after an earthquake struck late on Sunday.
The suspects were alleged to have confessed to the crime.
Taliban officials say the enforcement of sharia, or strict Islamic law, is essential to reducing crime and ensuring public safety.
Similar burnings of outdated drugs and food have been conducted in other cities, including the capital, Kabul, in recent months.
Four people, including three Spanish nationals, were killed, while seven others, including four foreign tourists, were wounded in a shooting attack.
Hundreds of Pakistani families fled their homes from villages near the border overnight after the clashes began, Mr Ali said.
