Mr Hayatu-Mazadu said the state received predictions from NiMet three months ago and we took proactive measures to prepare for the floods.
KADSEMA says it has identified 708 illegal structures erected in flood-prone areas.
“We have our men stationed and on alert in case of any emergency.”

“You can see excreta everywhere, close to wells, streams and with children playing inside,” the KADSEMA boss said.
