The Kaduna State Peace Commission has declared 2024 as a peaceful year free from all kinds of violence.
Until his resignation, Apostle Emmanuel Nuhu Kure was the Co-chair and member of the Kaduna Peace Commission.
“There are utterances in various communication platforms which have the effect of instilling fear on the electorate and cause voter apathy.”
“And that goes with a lot of decorum so that they would be memorable in the minds of those people that attend the rallies,” said the peace commission official.
The Secretary-General of the Anglican Communion and former Archbishop of Kaduna, Josiah Idowu-Fearon, is the chairman.
