Governor Abba Kabir-Yusuf made the declaration during the formal presentation of letters of admission to the 250 new students on Thursday in Kura.
Governor Abba Yusuf said this while inaugurating the Kano State Task Force Committee on Immunisation.
Former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje has been roiled in several corruption scandal.
The Kano government plans to disburse N50,000 to each beneficiary in the 44 local government areas (LGAs).
“We spend N400 million monthly on diesel, N387 million on chemicals, while electricity bills take N280 million,” said Kano’s water resources commissioner.
He said the three-week exercise was designed to increase the number of competent technical teachers in the state.

In the suit, the Kano government, its attorney general and accountant-general were sued as first to third defendants, respectively.
The Kano government has awarded an N15.97 billion contract to construct two interchange bridges in the metropolis at the Dan-Agundi and Tal’udu junction.
Kano agreed to pay N3 billion to compensate the Incorporated Trustees of Masallacin Eid Shop Owners and Traders Association for demolishing their properties.
The test kits are being distributed to 590 health facilities to address the prolonged challenges of being out of stock.
