“The service responded to 16 rescue calls and six false alarms from residents of the state,” he said.
Mr Abdullahi said that the cause of the incident was under investigation.
“The Service responded to 11 rescue calls and four false alarms from residents of the state,” he said.
Mr Abdullahi said the incident occurred on Monday afternoon.
He said that one Bello Muhammed, 22, was the one that fell inside and got trapped in the well.
“The service responded to 45 distress calls and nine false alarms from residents of the state,” he said.
Fire Service spokesman Saminu Abdullahi said a man, Umar Faruk-Dalada, reported the incident to the agency.
The Kano State Fire Service said three female passengers died while 13 others were injured when a commercial bus caught fire on Tuesday.
Its spokesman, Saminu Abdullahi, in a statement, said the service saved 45 lives and property worth N285.6 million in the incidents.
Several shops were razed at the Singer market in Kano.
