He said the items recovered from the suspects were two motorcycles, daggers, machetes, assorted charms, gunpowder and five mobile phones.
“The criminal elements launched a rustling operation targeting a Fulani settlement near Jebjeb Village in Karim Lamido Local Government Area,” said the army.
He urged the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the nearest security agency.
One of the victims, who craved anonymity, told journalists that kidnappers threw them into snake-infested spots.
Reports from major snakebite treatment centres indicate that the incidences of the attacks have continued to rise.
