“My fellow residents of Abuja, we did not stop at the road. Abuja’s real life is coming back. Criminal hideouts are disappearing,” Mr Tinubu said.
The five convicts are Panupong Wanasak, Aatairat See Ni, Laongdao Saeguang, Achalar Saeyang, and Galin Suphaaut, all of whom are represented in court by Christiana Sylvester.
Mr Wike directed the director to commence the payment and urged the community leaders to collect the money.
Mr Wike explained during the exercise in Abuja that the demolished structures were built on a road corridor.
Mr Wike gave the directive in Abuja on Tuesday, shortly after inspecting the areas.
“So far, we have removed more than 100 illegal structures in the area,” he said.
Mr Galadima said the resources being committed to the demolition were enormous that it could not be allowed to go just like that.
