The Katsina State House of Assembly has approved a N1 billion contribution to the Regional Security Trust Fund to strengthen security across northern Nigeria.
According to Mr Magaji, Mr Radda’s resumption signals a new intensified phase in the state’s comprehensive security strategy.
Deputy speaker Abduljalal Runka stated this while opening a public hearing on establishing a social protection intervention agency.
Governor Dikko Radda presented over N682.2 billion for consideration and approval on November 25.

The parliament, presided over by the Speaker, Nasir Yahaya-Daura, approved the 2024 Appropriation Bill at plenary on Monday.
The state was created out of the former Kaduna State on September 23, 1987, by the then military administration of Babangida.
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina has sent a list of 20 commissioner-nominees to the state House of Assembly for screening and confirmation.
Mr Daura further noted that with this development, the name of Katsina State would keep on resonating in the sports arena.
