The Ikeja Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday ordered that a 72-year-old man, David Jackson, be remanded in prison custody for defiling a seven-year-old girl.
Ademola Oladimeji had beat up his wife and inflicted injuries on her when she confronted him.
Chukwunonso Igwemba, who resides in Apapa, Lagos, is charged with defilement and killing of an unborn child.
However, Chief Magistrate, Ajibade, granted the defendant N50,000 bail with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case until February 11 for mention.
Yinka Makinde, however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
