Governor Alex Otti has approved the appointment of Emmanuel Meribole as acting secretary to the state government.
The Abia government says it has initiated steps to address the issues surrounding the non-remittance of the statutory 10 per cent check-off dues to the NLC.
Mr Otti said periodic assessments and leveraging past achievements are vital to improving governance and institutional efficiency.
