Recent data from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) showed that the average price per litre of kerosene increased from N467.97 in December 2021 to N1,104.61 in December 2022.
Ms Bilyamin said she feels “very much happy because I think I’m the first in my department to have participated in such a task.”
The month’s price was a 1.46 per cent increase over what was obtained in October.
The report was released by the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) in Abuja on Friday.
Mr El-Rufai said if fuel subsidy was not stopped, 35 of the 36 states may not be able to pay salaries in 2022.
Jigawa, Ekiti and Kaduna States have the highest average price per gallon of kerosene.
