Salvadoran immigrant wrongfully deported from U.S. faces new threat of expulsion to Uganda

Mr Garcia’s notice of removal revealed that he could be deported to Uganda as soon as Wednesday unless his lawyer approaches the court for “withholding of removal”.

Mr Garcia was arrested by immigration officials on March 12 despite having lived in the U.S. under protected legal status since 2019.
